How to Make Delicious Chicken Broth: Light, Nutritious, and Healthy

There is nothing better than chicken broth in the autumn-winter period, and even after long holiday festivities.

When all the dishes prepared for the New Year's table are gone, a person instinctively begins to reach for light, tasty and healthy food.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - a cook, fourth-category baker told how to cook chicken broth.

You will need:

  • chicken breast 500 g;
  • onion 1 pc;
  • garlic 2 cloves;
  • carrots 2 pcs;
  • bay leaf 2 pcs;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

How to cook

1. Place the peeled whole onion, carrot, chicken and bay leaf in a saucepan with cold water.

2. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat, skimming off the foam.

3. After about an hour and a half, you can add salt and pepper; if desired, you can remove the onion.

4. After 30 minutes, add chopped garlic, bring the broth to a boil and serve.

You can add croutons of black bread and fresh chopped greens. Enjoy!
