Every housewife has a lot of secrets and tricks in stock that help make dishes even tastier and more aromatic.

Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova shared one of these tricks – with it, your cutlets will turn into a real work of art.

How to cook minced meat for cutlets

The most delicious mince is obtained by using different types of meat: pork, beef, chicken and turkey. It is recommended to mix fatty and lean types of meat.

To thin the mince, use ice water or meat/chicken broth instead of milk. Achieve the consistency of thick sour cream and leave the mince in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours before forming the patties.

Do not add eggs to the minced meat, as they will not allow the cutlets to achieve the desired “airiness”.

The more onions in the minced meat, the tastier the cutlets will be.

Instead of bread, you can add grated zucchini, potatoes or cabbage to the mince. Such cutlets will not only be tasty and juicy, but also healthy.

What spice must be used in cutlets

Experienced cooks advise adding coriander to the minced meat, calling it a magic spice and stating that it gives the minced meat unusual flavors and a delicious aroma that awakens the appetite.

For 500 grams of minced meat, one and a half teaspoons of ground coriander is enough.

If you are using coriander seeds, first toast them in a dry frying pan and grind them in a coffee grinder or mortar.
