Avocado is usually valued for its rich composition and nutritional value, but this product can also be called truly universal.
Think about it: it can be used to make sauces, salads, purees and spreads for sandwiches, lists the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova.
The only problem is that often unripe avocados are sold in stores, and due to lack of choice we have to buy, as they say, what they give us.
Of course, you can wait for the fruit to ripen on its own, but this can take a long time.
Instead, we suggest you familiarize yourself with a few simple techniques: knowing them, you can significantly speed up the ripening process.
If you need to quickly prepare an avocado for a salad, place it in the microwave for 30-40 seconds. This will help make the fruit softer and, therefore, more delicious.
Another way is to peel the avocado, cut it into slices and pour boiling water over it for a few seconds. After that, just drain the water and use the pulp for the sauce.
If you have a couple of days to spare, put the avocado in a paper bag with bananas. Bananas emit ethylene, which helps the fruit "nearby" ripen faster.
