You will need:
- herring 1 pc;
- water 300 ml;
- salt 1 tbsp;
- a pinch of sugar;
- allspice peas 6 pcs;
- black pepper to taste;
- bay leaf 2 pcs;
- black tea 1 tsp.
How to cook
1. Clean the fish, remove the bones and cut into portions 1.5-2 cm thick.
2. Prepare the marinade: pour water into a saucepan, add the spices according to the list, as well as tea.
It is recommended to use natural tea, without flavors or additives.
3. Bring the marinade to a boil, cover with a lid to let it steep. Wait until it cools to room temperature.
4. Place the prepared fish in a glass form or jar, pour in the marinade and put the preparation in the refrigerator for a day.
