Lazy apple strudel is very quick and very tasty. And to be honest, it's apples with caramel in lavash.
But when speed of dessert preparation is of the essence, a lazy recipe can compete with a classic one.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - a cook, fourth-class baker told how to quickly prepare an imported dessert.
You will need:
- lavash 2 sheets;
- apples 5 pcs;
- egg 1 pc;
- sugar 6 tbsp;
- butter 50 g;
- walnuts (kernels) 60 g;
- cinnamon 1 tsp;
- lemon juice 3 tbsp.
- powdered sugar.
How to cook
1. Peel and core the apples and cut them into thin slices.
2. Grind the nut kernels into fine crumbs.
3. Put butter in a frying pan, and when it melts, add sugar. Stir and cook caramel over low heat.
4. When the mixture turns golden, add the apples and simmer until soft. Now add the cinnamon.
5. Grease the lavash sheets with beaten egg, sprinkle them with nut crumbs and lay out the apples in an even layer, leaving 1.5-2 cm from the edge.
6. Roll the sheets into rolls, brush them with beaten egg and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
When ready, let it cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar – enjoy!
