Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova - cook, fourth-category baker told how to cook delicious stewed cabbage.
You will need:
- cabbage (white) 1 kg;
- onion 1 pc;
- tomato paste 2 tbsp. l;
- flour 1 tbsp;
- vinegar (9%) 1 tbsp;
- salt 1 tsp;
- sugar 1 tbsp;
- black pepper to taste;
- vegetable oil 3 tbsp;
- water 150 ml.
How to cook
1. Cut the cabbage into thin strips and the onion into cubes.
2. Fry the onion in vegetable oil, then add cabbage and 150 ml of water, then simmer under the lid for 30-40 minutes.
3. At this time, mix flour with tomato paste in a bowl and add vinegar and sugar. Stir until lumps dissolve and add to the cabbage.
4. Simmer for another 10-15 minutes without a lid and remove from heat. You can stew cabbage with meat or chicken breast in the same way.
