If you choose to store seasonal fruits and vegetables in the freezer, remember that it is not recommended to refreeze the products.

In this regard, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova, advises making preparations for the freezer in portions.

Ice-freezing moulds are ideal for this purpose.

You can place fried vegetables, greens or, for example, a vegetable mixture in their cells, and then take out and use the cubes whenever needed.

As for canned food, it should be stored in a dark and cool place, away from sunlight.

In addition, the preparations left in such a place should not be exposed to sudden temperature changes - otherwise, the risk of the pickles bursting and the jams becoming candied or moldy increases.

Once you remove the lid from the jar, keep it in the refrigerator and try to use its contents within three to four days.

Use only a clean spoon to remove the product from the jar to avoid premature spoilage of the product.
