Feeding children carrots is not such an easy task, so housewives have to be cunning and add the vegetable to cutlets, salads and other snacks.
You can bake something with carrots, but it’s better to make juice that children will enjoy drinking.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova, a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to do this.
In this case, the vegetable will retain all its beneficial properties and vitamins.
It is also worth remembering that some vitamins are better absorbed if consumed with fats - this is exactly the case.
You will need:
- carrots - 1 kg;
- cream - 100 ml;
- sugar to taste.
How to cook
1. It is best to use young, richly colored carrots for juicing.
2. It needs to be washed and the top part with the remains of the tops removed, after which it needs to be cut into bars.
3. Next, turn on the juicer and get the juice. Add cream to it and get a very healthy and tasty product.
If you don’t have a juicer, you can grate the carrots on a fine grater and then squeeze out the pulp using cheesecloth.
As for sugar, it won't make the juice healthier, but it certainly won't spoil the taste. Enjoy your meal!
