We are talking about potato balls, the recipe for which was shared by the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.
How to make potato balls
Boil 800 grams of peeled potatoes, drain the water and “process” the cooked vegetable with a masher.
Add 50 grams of butter and one raw egg to the resulting mass.
Add salt, pepper and mix the contents of the container thoroughly.
Form balls of 4-5 cm in diameter from the resulting base. Roll them in flour or breadcrumbs and place them in a heated frying pan with oil poured into it.
You need to fry the balls until their surface becomes completely golden.
The dish has an appetizing appearance, very bright taste, pleasant crunch and goes well with meat.
In addition, potato balls can simply be eaten with sour cream: it will be very tasty.
