Many people love crispy cucumbers. We are talking about lightly salted ones. They are prepared in different ways, but there is one that stands out among all the methods.

Firstly, it is one of the simplest. Secondly, it does not require much time. Thirdly, it requires a minimum of physical effort.

Some people familiar with this recipe call it the “dry” version of preparation.

The essence of this method was described by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova.

Cooking process

She noted: the recipe is not new, but perhaps not everyone knows about it. Its advantage is the speed of preparation of lightly salted cucumbers.

Don't forget to wash the vegetables well and trim the ends before starting the process.

Next, chop (finely) dill and garlic (medium). Place them in two bags, just like the cucumbers.

Then add one teaspoon of salt to each bag.

In one of them, add red paprika, turmeric, black pepper and ground coriander to all the ingredients mentioned above.

Storage

Try it. You will surely appreciate the new – not quite usual – taste.

And if you wish, use other spices. For spiciness, for example, red pepper will do.

Close both bags (the first one is a classic dish), shake well, and put in the refrigerator.

But you can leave it on the table, then the cucumbers will be ready in 12 hours. In the refrigerator - after a day.

Recipes

As for the recipes, the “classic” requires cucumbers (750 grams), a bunch of dill, 4-5 cloves of garlic and 1 teaspoon of salt.

For the “innovative” recipe, in addition to everything mentioned above (in the same quantities), you will need:

– turmeric – a third of a teaspoon;
– paprika – a third of a teaspoon;
– black pepper – a third of a teaspoon;
- ground coriander - a third of a teaspoon.

And for those who like it spicy, you can add red pepper if desired.
