The dish called “Jewish snack” enjoyed incredible popularity among Soviet housewives.

And all because it is prepared quickly and simply, and only the simplest and most accessible products are needed for this, explained the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova .

If you want to remember a forgotten taste, prepare the following ingredients:

  • 5 hard-boiled eggs,
  • 2 processed cheeses,
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic,
  • Mayonnaise - for dressing,
  • Salt – to taste.

Let's start cooking. Using a grater, grate the eggs and cheese, and crush the garlic in a press.

Combine all the “ingredients”, add salt, season with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.

That's it, actually - the appetizer can be served in a salad bowl, or spread on toasted bread, crackers, or sliced tomatoes or cucumbers.

And if you want to make an already delicious dish even more delicious, add secret ingredients to it.

This could be aromatic (this is important) black pepper or chopped fresh herbs – dill, cilantro or parsley.

These seemingly insignificant details give the snack a special twist, making its taste richer.
