Pollock baked under a “coat” of carrots and onions can be cooked on any day, even a holiday.
This dish is filling, tasty and also healthy. In addition to everything, as the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova , told us, you don’t need to have any special culinary skills to prepare it.
So you can safely prepare the necessary ingredients and start cooking. You will need:
- 300-350 g frozen pollock;
- 1 onion;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 tablespoon sour cream;
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise;
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil;
- 150 ml of water;
- salt and ground black pepper – to taste.
The pollock carcasses need to be slightly defrosted, cleaned of entrails and cut into portions, placed in a bowl, salted and peppered.
The carrots and onions need to be peeled. The carrots need to be grated on a coarse grater, and the onions need to be cut into quarter rings.
Now you can transfer the fish to a greased baking dish. Put a layer of onions on top, and then a layer of carrots.
Prepare the dressing by combining water, sour cream, mayonnaise and salt and mixing thoroughly.
Now you can pour the resulting filling over the pollock under a vegetable coat and put it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
