Lazy cabbage rolls in a frying pan are a tasty and filling dish that is prepared quite quickly and easily, without requiring any special expenses.
So, if you want to feed your family deliciously and heartily without any extra hassle, try the recipe suggested by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova .
To do this you will need:
- white cabbage – 250 g;
- minced meat – 300 g;
- rice – 100 g;
- carrots – 1 pc.;
- onion – 1 pc.;
- tomato paste – 1 tablespoon;
- water – 200 ml;
- vegetable oil for frying;
- salt and pepper to taste.
To serve the dish, you can use sour cream and fresh dill.
First, prepare the ingredients: grate the carrots on a coarse grater, cut the onion into cubes. Do the same with the cabbage.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and carrot until golden brown.
Then add the minced meat and fry it with the vegetables for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Next, add the washed rice and water to the pan, as well as the tomato paste. At this stage, the dish should be salted and peppered.
The last ingredient is cabbage. Stir the contents of the pan, wait until it boils, then cover the pan with a lid and leave for an hour on minimum heat.
After 60 minutes, all that remains is to transfer the lazy cabbage rolls to a plate, garnish them with sour cream and herbs and serve.
