Experience shows that sometimes you don't need meat at all to make cutlets. You may only need vegetables, flour or cereals.
The taste, of course, is far from meaty, but such semi-finished products will definitely not undermine your health.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to cook cabbage cutlets.
You will need:
- cabbage (white) - 1 kg;
- eggs - 2 pcs.;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- carrots - 1 pc.;
- garlic - 2-3 cloves;
- flour - 3-4 tbsp;
- salt and pepper to taste;
- vegetable oil for frying.
How to cook
1. Wash the cabbage, cut it and chop it thinly, then knead it with your hands, sprinkling it with salt to release the juice.
2. Chop the onion, grate the carrots and fry them one by one in vegetable oil.
3. When the vegetables in the pan become soft, add the garlic and simmer for a couple more minutes.
4. Add the mixture to the cabbage, stir and add eggs, flour, salt and spices. Mix until smooth.
5. Form cutlets and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Serve with fresh vegetables and herbs. Enjoy your meal!
