Fragrant and airy pea cutlets are an ideal option for a hearty lunch.
At the same time, the cooking process is quite simple, and the dish itself is a great way to add variety to your diet.

Ingredients
To prepare 3-4 servings you need to take:
- split peas - 230 g;
- water - 1.5 l;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- carrots - 1 pc.;
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp;
- semolina - 50 g;
- salt and pepper.
Cooking process
Peas should be soaked first.
It needs to be left in water for three hours.
After this, the product must be strained and transferred to a saucepan, and then filled with clean water again. The peas should be cooked for about an hour.
The chopped vegetables should be fried in oil until soft, then combined with the peas and blended.
The resulting mass must be mixed with spices and semolina.
The dough should be mixed and left for 20 minutes at room temperature. After that, you can start forming the cutlets, which should be fried on each side for about 3-4 minutes.
