How to cook fish fillet in crispy batter: a simple recipe for an appetizing and hearty dish

Fish is a product that is rich in a lot of useful elements and should be included in your regular diet.

But the fish does not always turn out appetizing. In this case, you should prepare a batter that will make the treat more aromatic and crispy.

The method was shared by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova .

As the specialist explained, you need to take a minimum of ingredients to prepare it.

What products are needed?

  • Fillet, 400 g,
  • Ground black pepper and salt,
  • Water, 100 ml,
  • Egg, 1 pc.,
  • Flour, 100 g,
  • Starch, 30 g,
  • Baking powder, 5 g,
  • Turmeric,
  • Vegetable oil.

Cooking process

The fish should be divided into small pieces, salted and peppered.

In a separate bowl, mix some of the flour with starch, water, yolk and turmeric. After that, you can add the egg white, a pinch of salt and the rest of the ingredients.

The mass should be thoroughly mixed until smooth. The remaining flour should be in a separate bowl.

First, the fish pieces should be rolled in flour and then dipped in batter.

Then you can move on to frying. You need to cook the fillet in a preheated frying pan.
