What to cook chicken hearts with to make them really tasty: this recipe has a ton of fans

Chicken hearts are not only a tasty and nutritious product, but also a storehouse of useful substances such as iron, zinc, copper, and B vitamins.

They are ideal for preparing a variety of dishes, and one of them – tasty and simple – was shared with us by the expert of the online publication “BelNovosti”, chef Yulia Arkhipova .

To prepare stewed chicken hearts with vegetables in a frying pan, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 500 g chicken hearts;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon chicken seasoning;
  • 0.5 teaspoon adjika;
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • 30-40 g of greens (dill, parsley, green onions);
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying;
  • 1 pinch of salt.

Wash the chicken hearts under cold water, remove the remains of the vessels and excess fat. If the hearts are large, cut them in half or into 4 parts.

Cut the onion into quarter rings, cut the carrots into thin strips or grate on a coarse grater, cut the pepper into small pieces, chop the garlic in any convenient way.

Heat oil in a frying pan, add chicken hearts and fry them until golden brown. Then add onion, carrot and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly.

Add chopped garlic to the pan. Sprinkle with chicken seasoning, salt and pepper to taste. Add adjika and soy sauce. Stir and continue to simmer over low heat.

Sprinkle the finished chicken hearts with fresh herbs and serve with any side dish. Your family and guests will be delighted with such a delicious and satisfying dish.
