Ingredients
- white cabbage - 1 kg;
- carrots and beets - 1 pc.;
- garlic - 3 cloves;
- hot pepper - 1 pc.;
- water - 500 ml;
- sugar - 80 g;
- salt - 1 tbsp;
- bay leaf - 1 pc.;
- allspice peas - 3 pcs.;
- vinegar - 80 ml.
Cooking process
The cabbage should be shredded. And the beetroot should be cut into strips. The carrots can be cut into thin circles.
The vegetables must be placed in layers in a saucepan.
Each layer should be diluted with thin garlic slices and hot pepper.
Separately, you need to cook the marinade with the addition of pepper, salt, sugar, and bay leaf.
As soon as the mixture boils, you can pour vinegar into it.
Afterwards, you can pour the marinade over the vegetable preparation, which should be covered with a plate and a small weight.
The pan should be left at room temperature.
After 24 hours, you can try the snack.
