Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" chef Yulia Arkhipova revealed a simple way to prepare this treat.

What ingredients are needed for manna

  • kefir - 250 ml;
  • semolina - 180-190 g;
  • sugar - 180 g;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • salt - 1 pinch;
  • butter - 100 g;
  • baking powder - 1.5 tsp.

How to cook manna at home

First, you need to mix semolina and kefir. The mixture should be left for an hour and a half.

Then the softened butter should be rubbed with sugar. Then you need to add the beaten eggs. The mass should be thoroughly mixed. Then you need to add salt and baking powder.

The resulting mixture must then be combined with the swollen semolina.

After this, the dough can be laid out in the form. The manna should be baked for about 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees. It is important to preheat the oven.

The treat can be served with a variety of additives. For example, with sour cream, pieces of fruit, etc.
