It’s a great help when the harvest is spoiled and it’s simply not possible to process it in large quantities.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to bake carrot cookies.
You will need:
- flour - 200 g;
- carrots - 140 g;
- butter - 70 g;
- sugar - 60 g;
- baking powder - 1 tsp;
- cinnamon - 0.5 tsp;
- vanilla sugar - 0.5 tsp.
How to cook
1. Mix butter at room temperature with sugar.
2. Peel the carrots, grate them finely, mix with spices and add to the butter.
3. Sift the flour and mix thoroughly to obtain a homogeneous dough.
4. Roll it out on the table, using a glass or other form, form cookies.
5. Transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake carrot cookies for 20-25 minutes.
