Sun-dried tomatoes have a very interesting taste and allow you to prepare fairly simple dishes and snacks with the freshest taste.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to make sun-dried tomatoes.
You will need:
- tomatoes - 2 kg;
- oregano - 50 g;
- basil - 150 g;
- garlic, salt, sugar and pepper to taste.
How to cook
1. For this recipe, it is better to choose a plum-shaped variety. The fruits need to be washed and cut into two parts.
2. Finely chop the basil and crush the garlic.
3. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and lay out the tomato slices.
4. Mix together the dry spices, add the prepared basil and garlic and sprinkle the tomatoes evenly with this mixture.
5. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius and place the baking tray in it for 10 hours without closing the door tightly.
When the tomatoes are ready, they need to be allowed to cool and transferred to a dry glass jar with a tightly closing lid or stored in a jar, covered with vegetable oil.
