Red wine can be a great addition to many dishes.
But it also happens that dinner has already come to an end, and the bottle has not been completely emptied. What to do in such a situation, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova , told.
Leftover red wine can be used as an ingredient for preparing individual dishes.
For example, it can be boiled down to a syrup state, adding sugar, and served with ice cream.
Another great way to use up leftover red wine after dinner is mulled wine.
This drink is especially tasty with honey, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, orange and lemon slices.
Lemons and oranges are cut into circles and divided into four parts, which are then placed in mulled wine glasses and filled with hot aromatic drink.
There is another way to “utilize” alcohol – making wine vinegar, but it requires some skills, which we will talk about some other time.
Earlier we shared a method for cooking buckwheat in a thermos.
