Both adults and children like pureed soups, and preparing them is not as difficult as it seems, even if you had a blender.
The most popular is pumpkin soup. But you can make a no less healthy and nutritious chicken soup-puree with cheese.
Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to prepare such a lunch.
You will need:
- chicken breast - 500 g;
- water - 2 liters;
- carrots - 2 pcs.;
- onion - 2 pcs.;
- potatoes - 4 pcs.;
- soft cheese - 200 g;
- butter - 2 tbsp;
- cream (20%) - 200 gr.
How to cook
1. Cook chicken broth. You can add carrots and celery – they won’t hurt. Take the meat out, separate it, strain the broth.
2. Peel, chop and grate the onion and carrot, then fry in butter.
3. Put the potatoes in the broth to boil until done.
4. You can use processed cheese – it needs to be chopped (easier to mash it with a fork into small crumbs). Hard cheese is grated on a fine grater.
5. Place the meat and fried vegetables in the broth with potatoes, chop with a blender, add cream and cheese, mix well and bring to a boil.
The cream soup is traditionally served with croutons and garnished with fresh herbs.
