Of course, sandwiches for children are not a dish that should be prepared every day. But we do not encourage preparing them often.

Instead, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, chef Yulia Arkhipova, advises treating the preparation of a sandwich for a child as a fun pastime, a game and a holiday that can be arranged with the family.

Such a pastime will not only be interesting, but also delicious, since beautiful and appetizing sandwiches will most likely be eaten with pleasure without unnecessary persuasion.

There are many different options for making children's sandwiches, of which we have chosen, in our opinion, the most successful - in the shape of a lion cub.

For this you will need the following ingredients: a square slice of bread, a slice of cheese, one olive, a couple of slices of smoked sausage, a couple of slices of sausages and a slice of carrot.

The hardest part of making a sandwich is creating the lion's mane from cheese. Here's a helpful tip to make the task easier: the cheese slice should be thin, so it's easier to cut the edges.

If desired, you can place a lettuce leaf on a slice of bread, then a slice of cheese and a circle of sausage to create the lion's mane and face.

The olive can be cut into circles, which will serve as the eyes and nose of the lion. From a slice of carrot, you can make the lion's mouth, cutting it into three thin bars.

The lion's body can be made from the second circle of sausage, and the paws and ears can be made from sausage circles, divided in half.
