How to make an omelette with cottage cheese: hearty and light – will become a family dish

An omelette is usually prepared without any additives. It is believed that this way it will be fluffier and will not fall when removed from the frying pan.

However, an omelette with sausage, vegetables, cheese or mushrooms is much tastier. Here is another interesting recipe.

Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" Yulia Arkhipova , a cook and fourth-class baker, told how to make an omelet with cottage cheese.

You will need:

  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • cottage cheese - 1/3 cup;
  • fresh champignons - 150 g;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • pepper to taste;
  • vegetable oil.

How to cook

1. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into slices, fry in a frying pan with vegetable oil.

2. While the mushrooms are frying, beat the eggs. They say it is better to do this not with a mixer, but with a fork or whisk.

3. Add salt and pepper to taste, cottage cheese to the prepared mixture, then stir and pour the mixture over the mushrooms.

Cook under a lid on low heat. Before serving, you can sprinkle with fresh herbs. Enjoy!
