You can easily and quickly prepare a simple, but very tasty and healthy salad for your table.
The treat will be crispy and delicious.
Ingredients
For one kilogram of white cabbage you should take:
- carrots - 1 pc.;
- beetroot - 1 pc.;
- garlic - 3 cloves;
- hot pepper - 1 pc.;
- water - 500 ml;
- sugar - 75 g;
- salt - 1 tbsp;
- allspice - 3 pcs.;
- table or apple cider vinegar - 75 ml.
Cooking process
The cabbage needs to be shredded. It is advisable to cut the carrots into thin slices and the beets into strips.
Then all the vegetables should be laid out in layers in the pan. Each of them should be sprinkled with garlic slices. Don't forget to add pepper.
Separately, you need to bring a mixture of water, sugar, salt, bay leaf and allspice to a boil.
As soon as the fire is turned off, then you need to pour in the vinegar.
The prepared marinade should be poured over the vegetable preparation, which should be covered with a plate and a small weight should be placed on top.
The preparation should be left at room temperature for several hours.
Then you can put it in the refrigerator.
A day after preparation, this salad should be served.
