Ingredients
For one and a half kilograms of tracing paper you need to prepare:
- water - 1 l.;
- salt - 4 tbsp;
- sugar - 2 tbsp;
- pepper mixture - 1 tbsp;
- bay leaf - 2 pcs.;
- onions - 1.5 pcs.;
- apple or wine vinegar - 6 tbsp.
How to deliciously marinate sprat
The fish needs to be cleaned. The head, entrails, and dark film should be removed. Then the product should be rinsed again under running water.
If you are using frozen fish in your cooking, you should first let it thaw naturally.
Once the main ingredient is ready, you can safely move on to the next step. To do this, mix all the spices in water. If desired, you can add a little coriander. The brine should boil for several minutes. Then you need to stir in the vinegar and cool the liquid.
The marinade should be poured over the sprat so that the water completely covers the product. It is also necessary to add onion rings.
The preparation must be covered with a lid and placed in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
