Cabbage rolls are an incredibly appetizing dish that both children and adults are delighted with.
The problem is that creating the dish is a rather long and tedious process, associated with the risk of getting burned.
And all because of the need to prepare the cabbage. You need to cook the whole head of cabbage, gradually removing the leaves from it.
To "take apart" cabbage, you need to spend a lot of time and effort. This culinary procedure is not very convenient and not always safe.
Fortunately, there is a way to make cabbage rolls that does not involve boiling the head of cabbage and creating "envelopes". It is enough to shred the cabbage and "combine" it with the other ingredients.
Lazy cabbage rolls recipe
First, you need to start cooking the rice. One glass of cereal is enough.
While the product is in boiling water, you need to work on the vegetables. You should chop the onion, grate the carrot and shred half a kilo of cabbage. Next, you need to start processing the carrot-onion mixture in a frying pan, into which vegetable oil was previously poured.
After two minutes of frying the vegetables, add chopped cabbage to the mixture. After 5-7 minutes, the heat treatment process can be completed.
In a large container, mix the following ingredients: half a kilo of minced meat, cooked rice, fried vegetables, one raw egg. This mixture should be salted and peppered.
Next, you can start making "cutlets" from the base. The resulting raw lazy cabbage rolls should be placed in a baking dish and covered with tomato-sour cream sauce.
The filled container should be in the oven for 60 minutes at 190 degrees. It may take more or less time. Check the degree of readiness of the dish.
