At first glance, it may seem that you can’t surprise anyone with pasta: it’s a basic and ordinary product.
However, not everyone knows that it can be prepared in the Mexican style.

List of required ingredients
- half a kilo of fresh tomatoes and two spoons of tomato paste;
- one medium red sweet pepper;
- onion (1 piece);
- three cloves of garlic;
- a large spoon of smoked paprika and a small spoon of chili powder;
- a small pack of medium-fat sour cream (about 200 grams);
- cream cheese (about one hundred grams);
- about half a spoon of salt;
- 300-350 grams of spaghetti;
- one piece of bay leaf;
- two bouillon cubes;
- about a spoonful of salt.
How to cook
First, you need to prepare the sauce so that you can add the pasta to it later. The thing is that the sauce needs to be hot, otherwise the pasta won't be able to soak up the sauce properly.
To do this, peel the tomatoes and cut them into slices. Chop other vegetables - pepper, onion and garlic.
We send the ingredients into a blender and bring them to the consistency of soup.
Then add oil and spices - paprika and chili. Stir them for a couple of minutes. Pour in half a glass of water, stir again.
As soon as the mass boils, you need to add the vegetable mass. We will have 15 minutes to cook the spaghetti. At this point, you do not need to "touch" the sauce - just stir it occasionally. There is no need to use a lid.
Place water, bay leaf and salt in a saucepan for cooking pasta. After it boils, add the cubes and watch them "give" broth.
Add the pasta itself. You should find time recommendations on the pack. Ideally, the pasta should remain al dente.
After 15 minutes of cooking the sauce, you need to add the remaining ingredients - cheese, salt, tomato paste and sour cream. It will only take five minutes to cook.
Next, add the pasta. Mix until smooth and serve.
