Pollock fillet is one of the popular fish products that appears on tables with some consistency.
The fish is unpretentious, and it is believed that nothing exquisite can be prepared from it. We will tell you how to fry pollock or its fillet to get a luxurious dish.
You will need:
- pollock - 500 g;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- vegetable oil - 2 tbsp;
- butter - 30 g;
- Provencal herbs - 1 tsp;
- bay leaf - 1 pc.;
- fresh herbs;
- salt and pepper to taste.
How to cook
1. Wash the fillet and cut into equal pieces.
2. Cut the onion into large half rings, cut the garlic into medium slices with a knife.
3. Heat the frying pan over medium heat and fry the onion and garlic in vegetable oil. When the vegetables turn golden, add the butter and reduce the heat.
4. Place the fish in the frying pan. The onion should be removed to the sides of the frying pan, add vegetable oil, bay leaf, spices and herbs.
5. Cook under the lid for 12-15 minutes without turning. When ready, sprinkle with chopped herbs and serve with a side dish.
