Dried fruits are a great option for a healthy snack, and they are also used quite often as an ingredient in various dishes.

This is why thrifty housewives strive to stock up on this product.

And if the first stage – buying or preparing it yourself – usually does not cause any difficulties, then questions often arise during the storage process.

Today we will tell you how to properly store dried fruits.

So, for this you can use thick paper bags - if you plan to use the products for food in the coming months.

If your plans are more ambitious and you want the dried fruits to remain intact and safe for a year or even two, you will need glass jars with lids.

However, you shouldn’t take containers that are too large: if mold suddenly forms on one of the fruits, it will spread to the others, so the entire contents of the jar will have to be thrown out.

The same, by the way, applies to fruit moths and other pests.
