Have you ever had an argument about what kind of dressing to put on your salad?
Such disagreements have become increasingly common in recent years, as more and more people seek to give up “harmful” mayonnaise.
But what can you replace your favorite sauce with?
We invite you to prepare a homemade alternative to mayonnaise using only familiar products.
To do this, you will need to combine 1 part cucumber brine and 2 parts vegetable oil. You can use any oil, but not virgin olive oil: the best option is refined sunflower oil.
Using an immersion blender, blend the mixture until emulsified.
All that remains is to add mustard, sugar, vinegar (or lemon juice). Add all the ingredients based on your own taste sensations.
As a result, you will get a thick and tasty sauce that can be stored in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. If the product is too thick, just dilute it with the same brine.
