Some thrifty housewives, who are used to saving on food, buy pollock by the kilogram.
Why? The answer is simple – they know how to cook this fish so that you won’t be ashamed to put it on the festive table.
If you want to cook pollock in the same way – tasty and juicy, then prepare the following ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons of prepared mustard;
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds;
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise;
- salt, ground black pepper and other spices – to taste.
Please note: the specified amount of ingredients will be sufficient for 1-1.2 kg of fish, or 2-3 carcasses.
First, gut the fish (don't forget about the black film) and get rid of the tail and fins. Salt and pepper the fish.
Mix mustard and mayonnaise and spread the resulting mixture on each fish inside and out.
Place the pollock in a baking dish. Put the fish in the oven and cook for about 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
Trust me, this recipe is worth trying.
