What to do with excess dill: well, you can't send it to the compost heap

It often happens that the dill harvest is so huge that summer residents simply do not know what to do with it.

In such a situation, a compost heap comes to the rescue, where the spicy herbs are sent.

But we have a much more “humane” way, thanks to which you can put your extra greenery to good use.

We advise you to prepare dill butter.

It is so easy to make that even a schoolchild can handle it, and the taste, according to housewives who have already tried the recipe, is much better than that of frozen or dried dill.

What is needed for this?

For 100 ml of olive oil you will need a large bunch of dill, one clove of garlic (choose larger), lemon juice squeezed from one lemon, as well as half a teaspoon of lemon zest and salt to taste.

All the listed ingredients should be placed in a blender bowl and chopped, plugging the device into the power supply.

That's all - all that's left is to put the mixture into a jar, close the lid and move it to the refrigerator shelf. This oil is ideal for salads, soups and sauces.
