Chicken is one of the most accessible and therefore most popular types of meat, which is suitable for preparing a wide variety of dishes.

But sometimes, after taking the carcass out of the refrigerator, housewives wrinkle their noses: the chicken has a distinct unpleasant smell.

Don't rush to throw away a kilogram or even two of meat - it's quite possible that the chicken simply suffocated in the bag while lying on the refrigerator shelf.

There is one proven method that will help you get rid of the repulsive “aroma”.

First, rinse the carcass under running cold tap water and remove the fat.

After this, pour a tablespoon of dry chamomile with a glass of boiling water and wait 10-15 minutes, then dilute the broth in a liter of cold water and soak the chicken meat in it.

Finally, we will share one more useful tip: to prevent the appearance of an unpleasant odor, meat should be stored not in the bag in which it was sold in the store, but in a paper bag.

As a last resort, wrap the chicken in parchment. In addition, the bird should be wrapped in a napkin soaked in a salt solution.
