Even sweet and sour honeysuckle can be used to make excellent jam. This treat will be a hit in winter.

There is one simple secret to making honeysuckle jam. To prevent it from becoming bitter or candied, but to give it a piquant taste, you need to add lemon. The full list of ingredients looks like this:

  • 1 kg honeysuckle;
  • 1 kg sugar;
  • 1 lemon.

Preparation

1. Mix the berries and sugar, then put everything on low heat. Bring the mixture to a boil.

2. Turn off the fire and wait until the mass cools down. Then put it back on the fire and repeat this procedure 2-3 times.
