Surely you have noticed more than once in the store round flatbreads with the word “tortilla” emblazoned on them.
If you still don’t know what you can cook using a similar base, quickly get to know this recipe – and you will no longer need to think about what to offer your family for breakfast or a snack.
So, to prepare that very Mexican tortilla for a pack of 6 tortillas you will need:
- 500 g chicken thighs;
- 3 cucumbers;
- 3 tomatoes;
- 100 g lettuce;
- 1 bunch of dill.
In addition, you will also need sauce. You can buy it in the store, or you can make it yourself by mixing 150 ml of sour cream, 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of mustard and 2 crushed cloves of garlic.
Pre-marinated chicken with your favorite spices should be fried, and when it cools down, cut into small pieces.
Cucumbers should also be cut into thin slices. The same should be done with tomatoes.
Once you're done with the preparations, you can start assembling the tortilla.
Place the flatbread on a cutting board and make 1 cut, moving from the middle to the edge. Now mentally divide the base into 4 parts and place a different type of filling on each of them.
So, one should be greased with sauce and filled with chicken, the second with cucumbers, the third with tomatoes and finely chopped dill, and the fourth with whole lettuce leaves.
All that's left is to roll the flatbread into a triangle, turning it clockwise. Enjoy!
