Cooking homemade sochniki with cottage cheese: a recipe that has won more than one heart

Baked goods with cottage cheese are not only tasty, but also healthy, so we suggest you do not put off preparing the treat for a long time, but rather quickly please yourself and your family with aromatic, tender and appetizing sochniki.

For the test you will need:

  • 400 g flour;
  • 100 g butter;
  • 1 egg;
  • 100 g sugar;
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.

For the filling you need to take:

  • 200 g cottage cheese;
  • 100 g sugar;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream;
  • 1 tablespoon flour (starch).

First, combine flour and baking powder in a bowl and mix, adding a pinch of salt. Grate butter on a coarse grater, then rub it with flour into fine crumbs.

Pour sugar into a separate container, break an egg and add sour cream, also mix thoroughly.

Now you can combine the contents of the two containers, knead the stiff dough and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.

To prepare the filling, grind the sugar with sour cream and egg white using a blender, then add flour (starch).

All that remains is to roll out the dough into a layer, from which you need to cut out circle-shaped blanks with a diameter of about 10 cm using a cookie cutter.

Place 1 spoon of curd filling on each half of our future sochnik, then cover the filling with the second half and lightly pinch the dough along the edge at the fold.

Bake the sochniki, greased with egg yolk, in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees.
