The main difficulty is the cooking time and the order in which the various ingredients are added. The number of ingredients is not very large, which is why it is not difficult to cook such porridge.

It is enough to put a pot of water on the fire and wait until it boils.

During this time, you can sort out the cereal. When the water boils, you can add a little salt and throw in some butter. After that, reduce the heat a little and add the cereal.

Cook the millet over high heat for no more than five minutes. Then reduce the heat to low and let the porridge cook for another 15 minutes under a closed lid.

After turning off the heat, do not rush to open the porridge.

It is better to let it sit for about 15 minutes. This approach will ensure that the millet does not stick together. When the specified time has passed, you can add more oil to the millet.

Of course, millet cooked in water does not have a variety of tastes. It is best to eat such porridge with some sauces. Porridge goes very well with meat gravy.

If you don't have anything like that, then you can simply sprinkle sugar on top of the millet. If you don't want to experiment, you can eat the porridge with just butter.
