Cauliflower is slightly tastier than the well-known broccoli, but experience shows that the less tasty the vegetable, the more useful it is.
Housewives resort to all sorts of tricks. The cabbage turns out tasty and tender, but to believe it, you just have to try it once. Here is not the worst recipe.
In this version, you can fry the cabbage in a frying pan or bake it in the oven. In batter and with hot sauce, it will not seem so disgusting.
To prepare you will need:
- 1 head of cauliflower;
- 240 ml milk;
- 180 grams of flour;
- 1-2 cloves of garlic;
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil;
- 80 grams of butter;
- 150 ml tomato sauce (spicy);
- 100 g breadcrumbs;
- salt and pepper to taste.
How to cook
We separate the head of cabbage into florets, wash it, and dry it to remove excess moisture.
Mix milk with flour, vegetable oil, add salt and pepper.
The garlic needs to be pressed. Melt the butter and mix with the hot tomato sauce and garlic.
The cabbage needs to be covered with batter, then breaded in flour and baked in an oven preheated to 220 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes, or fried in a frying pan with vegetable oil until browned.
Serve with a spicy tomato-cream sauce.
