To prepare you will need:

  • 1 beetroot;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 onion;
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil;
  • 250 g buckwheat;
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice;
  • salt and pepper - to taste.

How to cook

To prepare something tastier than an ordinary side dish, you need to boil the beets.

At this time, chop the garlic and onion, then fry until the vegetables become translucent.

Boiled beets should be chopped on a fine grater, or you can use a blender.

Before boiling the buckwheat, it needs to be fried in a frying pan with a small amount of oil for 3-5 minutes. Then it is boiled until done and mixed in a frying pan with fried vegetables.

Mix the beets with lemon juice, add salt and pepper and mix with the porridge, cover with a lid, let it sit for 3-5 minutes and serve.
