It turns out that tea bags can be used for more than just brewing an invigorating aromatic drink.

Tea can also be a great base for making an unusual marinade for meat.

To do this, you will need to brew a liter of strong black tea and add salt, a little lemon juice and the spices that you usually use for meat.

Don't forget another important ingredient - onion, cut into rings or half rings.

Leave a piece of pork in the resulting mixture for about five hours. After the specified time, it remains to string the pieces of meat on skewers and fry them like regular shashlik.

Thanks to this marinade, the meat will be unusually juicy and tasty.

By the way, this same recipe can also be used to marinate lamb.

Tea is also good for salting fish - if you dip mackerel in a marinade to which black tea infusion has been added, the fish will acquire a dark-golden color and will look like smoked fish.
