Salt is harmful to health, but no cook has yet managed to do without it. In this case, the main thing is not to oversalt.

But even an oversalted dish can be fixed in a matter of minutes. The main thing is not to despair and not to give up. Here's how to save minced meat.

The easiest thing to do is to add a little more minced meat and other ingredients to fry a whole mountain of cutlets. If you don't have an extra portion of minced meat, you'll have to do it like this.

1. Add boiled water cooled to room temperature to the mince in small portions. Stir, let stand for a few minutes, then squeeze the mince with your hands and excess salt will come out with the liquid. You can also simply put the mince in a colander or sieve. Be prepared to refresh the content of other ingredients that can also be washed out with the water (spices and herbs).

2. Mix the unsalted mince with the oversalted one.

3. Try adding more bread, which is pre-soaked, some in water, some in milk.

4. Grated sweet carrots, raw potatoes or zucchini, sweet peppers, cabbage cope with the task perfectly. All these vegetables will partially absorb excess salt, and the cutlets will only become juicier and healthier due to their presence.

5. If it is no longer possible to fit vegetables into the minced meat due to the proportions, add fresh dill, onion, parsley or other fresh herbs.

6. When vegetation can no longer help out, use cereals. A great solution is to add semi-cooked rice. Mix and get a mass for gorgeous meatballs.

7. And the last, no less appetizing option is to prepare navy-style macaroni, soup with meatballs, or use the minced meat as a filling for belyashi or pie.
