Most often, mackerel appears on our tables salted or smoked.
However, there is another, much less common, but no less tasty way of preparing this fish - mackerel pancakes.
To do this you will need:
- 2 mackerels;
- 1 egg;
- 60 g flour;
- 2 tablespoons yogurt;
- 1 bunch of dill;
- salt and ground black pepper to taste.
First, you should disassemble the fish, getting rid of the fins, tail, head and bones. The remaining fillet should be chopped with a knife or using a blender.
Now add finely chopped dill, flour, yogurt and egg to the fish. Don't forget to salt and pepper the fish mince and mix it thoroughly.
It is best to fry pancakes in a frying pan with a non-stick coating for 30-40 seconds on each side. The fire should be turned on at full power.
If you fry using regular cookware, it is worth greasing it with a thin layer of vegetable oil.
These pancakes can be served hot or cold.
