Boiling eggs is not such a difficult task, but you still need to follow some recommendations.

In addition to remembering how long it takes to cook a hard-boiled, soft-boiled or poached egg, you need to have an idea of the simplest thing – what kind of water to put the eggs in when cooking: boiling water or cold water.

The easiest way to do this is in an egg cooker, but if you don’t have the equipment, an ordinary saucepan will do.

You can often hear that eggs are boiled only in cold water, gradually bringing the contents of the pan to a boil.

In fact, everything is extremely simple, and if necessary, you can even put the eggs in hot or boiling water.

In this case, one nuance must be excluded - a sharp temperature change, which can lead to the shell cracking and the appearance of an unsightly protein "beard".

Therefore, if you need to boil eggs faster, you can put them in hot water, but you will have to take them out of the refrigerator in advance so that the product warms up to room temperature.

In addition, various folk remedies are used. For example, a little salt is always added to the water - it does not affect the taste, but they say that salt protects against cracks in the shell.

It also happens that the shell cracks because the eggs can hit each other or the sides of the pan during boiling. To prevent this from happening, they are boiled in a spacious pan so that the eggs lie in one layer and do not hit the sides.
