Besides this, there is another option for using sour milk, and it is to prepare the most tender meat.
The whole point is that lactic acid has the ability to penetrate meat fibers. That is why they become soft and tender.
Milk also helps to get rid of the specific bitter taste that is typical for some types of meat.
Still doubting the abilities of "milk"? Prepare chops marinated in sour milk and evaluate the result yourself. For the marinade you will need:
- 0.5 cups of sour milk;
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice;
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
- 1 tablespoon ginger;
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper;
- nutmeg and salt – to taste.
Combine all ingredients and pour the resulting marinade over the beaten pieces of meat for a couple of hours.
Then transfer the meat to a baking sheet or dish and bake in the microwave with the grill on for 8 minutes.
After the specified time, turn the chops over, brush with marinade and continue cooking for another 8 minutes.
