The cereal should be washed 6 times with boiling water. As soon as the liquid becomes transparent, this is an indicator that there will be no bitterness in the dish. Then you can proceed to cooking. First, the porridge should be cooked for about 20-25 minutes on low heat.
If the water has boiled away by this point, you need to add boiling water to the pan.
Once the porridge has been cooking for half an hour, you can add salt and butter. Mix everything thoroughly.
The millet needs to be simmered on the fire for another 5 minutes. After that, you can turn off the stove and serve the porridge.
