Strawberries are often eaten with sugar, cream, and some just with sour cream. Nutritionists do not bless any of these options.
The fact is that the choleretic effect of strawberries together with heavy cream hits the liver and gallbladder doubly, and sugar will kill vitamin C.
This recipe contains no alcohol, no pure sugar, no fat, only fruits, spices and herbs.
To prepare you will need:
- fresh strawberries - 100 g;
- banana - 1 pc.;
- orange - ½ pc.;
- lemon - 1 slice;
- mint - 1 branch;
- honey - 2 tsp;
- cinnamon to taste.
How to cook
Fresh berries should be cut in half, after washing and removing the stems. Large berries can be cut into four parts.
Chop the banana into cubes no larger than the chopped strawberries.
Take the mint leaves, stack them, roll them into a tube and cut into thin strips.
Mix mint, bananas, strawberries in a bowl and make dressing.
It is better to choose liquid honey, and if it has crystallized, you can carefully warm it up in a double boiler.
Next, squeeze the juice out of the orange, strain it and mix it with honey, and do the same with the lemon wedge. The citric acid will act as a preservative and will prevent the bananas from darkening.
Mix the ingredients, add a pinch of cinnamon, stir the fruit, pour over the sauce and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
This is a great option for a summer breakfast or a refreshing dessert!
Bon appetit!
