Buckwheat porridge is a key item in the diet. Not everyone likes it, and all because they do not know that in addition to oil, you can add a lot of ingredients to it, which makes the taste unique.
Cheese
It is unlikely that anyone regularly cooks buckwheat porridge with cheese, and yet this dish is often served in restaurants of national cuisine. Any cheese will do, but Parmesan is recommended. Just like when making pasta, the cheese should be grated on a coarse grater and added to a plate with hot porridge.
Vegetables
No one will argue that the best combination is onions and carrots. This is how they cooked 100 years ago, and it is unlikely that anything will change in the future. The vegetable tandem can be seasoned with meat or mushrooms, and therefore the additive is universal.
Oil and black pepper
As we know, you can't spoil porridge with butter. But in addition to butter, try adding freshly ground black pepper to the buckwheat and, covering the pan with a lid, let the buckwheat sit for a while.
Tomatoes and feta cheese
This dish already claims to be a gourmet dish. The porridge will be spicy, with a subtle hint of Greek cuisine. Tomatoes and cheese are cut into small cubes and added to the finished porridge.
Mushrooms
Buckwheat is as friendly with mushrooms as it is with butter. Incredible taste can be achieved with honey mushrooms, but it will also be no worse if you fry oyster mushrooms or champignons.
