How to get your child involved in household chores: play darts or Jenga with them

Keeping an apartment tidy is not always easy even for adults.

What can we say about children: sometimes getting them to clean their own room or wash the dishes seems like an impossible mission.

However, you will stop thinking like that once you learn interesting ways to turn routine tasks into an exciting activity and make your family look forward to spring cleaning.

Darts

Prepare a target by placing notes with tasks around the house on it. Give each participant 2-3 darts. Whichever target they hit is what they will need to complete.

Add an element of randomness by leaving one note blank. Whoever gets it gets to take a week off from chores.

It is important that all participants have approximately the same level of accuracy.

Jenga

Let each household chore have its own color. Red can be used for dusting, green for watering flowers, etc.

Each Jenga block must be marked with the same colors.

The player who breaks the tower must complete a house cleaning task according to the color of the brick he tried to pull out.

Bones

Assign each chore a number from 1 to 12, then have each player roll the dice.

For example, if the number 7 represents washing the floor, then the player who rolled 3 and 4 must complete this task.
